              Kobudo 
                
             
                  Kobudō ( Old martial arts) is a collective term for Japanese traditional techniques for the use of armour, blades, firearms, and techniques related to combat and horse riding.

              Lienage 
                
             
                  Shorin-ryu Shorinkan  is a branch of the Kobayashi Shorin-ryū style of Okinawan Karate, developed by Shūgorō Nakazato, Hanshi 10th Dan. Nakazato was a student of Choshin Chibana. After Chibana's death in 1969, Nakazato assumed the title of Vice President of the Okinawa Shorin-Ryū Karate-do Association. In November 1975, Nakazato resigned from this association and formed the Okinawa Karate-do Shorin-Ryū Shorinkan Association.

                  Okinawa Shorin Ryu Shorin Kan karate-Do Federation of India is directly affiliated with the Hombu dojo in Okinawa under the Founder and President of Shorin Ryu Shorin karate-do, Hanshi Ju Dan Shugoro Nakazato.

              Dojo Etiquette 
                
             
                  Treat everyone with proper manners and respect, this is a professional environment. Do not enter the Dojo training area while another class is in session, wait for your class. Do not disrupt a class.
